It was interesting to visit the place where MG was killed. They had various things to engage the visitor. You can first walk into the house where he was staying and see his few earthly possessions. As you walk through the hallways one can read his life story and see pictures. There is a multi-media videos which artistically recounts the last hour of MG's life. They also have clay dioramas depicting his life which I enjoyed. There's a place upstairs to engage children and hands -on learners. It fascinated me as a teacher. Then one can walk the path which MG took to the garden which is marked by footprints to the point where he was shot.
It's always beyond ourselves when we visit places with such historical significance. It's a place I would recommend to anyone visiting.
This is where he slept and studied.
The path to his death....
