Thailand---CM Part 2

The greatest luxury was going to Miguel’s---twice! It was the real deal people. Real Tex Mex. It was much better than the one I went to on the first day. But if you don’t have time to go to Miguel’s, then Salsa’s isn’t a bad choice. I enjoyed every bite of my cheese enchiladas, shrimp tacos, beans, rice, guacamole and tortilla chips.

For the 12 hour overnight bus trip to Hua Hin, I bought a Subway, which I can get in India, BUT I can’t get it on honey oat bread or with the other four letter meet that comes from the animal that says MOO! Roast b*@# is my favorite. That was a nice treat.

The real reason I was in Chiang Mai was to attend a conference. I did do that every day from 8:30-4:30. We were treated to a nice Thai lunch buffet every day. Other than searching for great places to eat for dinner, I also went to the night market & did some shopping. I must say, it felt so empty compared to what I’m use to. I did get some fun light things to use for Diwali/Christmas and for ordinary time.
